About Rajah

Originally from Guyana, South America, Rajah Samaroo graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where he began refining his visual style. He started working in the industry as an assistant camera, videographer and photographer while shooting his own short films. He soon fell in love with the art and craft of cinematography and making films has been part of his life for the last decade. With over 40 film credits, his work has been shown at Cannes and has garnered numerous best picture and cinematography awards. His meticulous attention to technical detail and eye for beautiful composition has been invaluable in his collaborations.
