Kevin Otterness is a Chicago-based cinematographer and director of photography. He has been working in the film industry for over 25 years. He is principal and founder of POSTHOUSE PICTURES, an independent motion picture company that specializes in services for feature films, documentaries, commercials, music videos and production of original content.   Throughout his career he has honed his craft to give all of his productions a truly cinematic look with richness of color and quality composition. An educational documentary involving solidarity and cultural enlightenment between the children of the Apulia region Italy; and the two orphanages we visited in Kenya. The children of Puglia collected donations and gifts for the orphanages and performed songs for the Kenyan children which was recorded and filmed for them to see. In return the Kenyan children also performed their authentic music for the children of Puglia. The experience was both heart warming and extremely touching.

This is a commercial/ad video that I shot, cut, and colored for a new Tech Start-Up company here in St. Louis Missouri. We shot on the Arri Alexa Mini with a set Kowa Anamorphic's that we rented from Camera Ambassador (based out of Chicago, IL). This was a two-day shoot with practical locations throughout the St. Louis area.
