About Hollywood

Hollywood Storytellers (formerly known as LA International) is a premiere Film Festival and Genre Script Competition that aims to celebrate, support, and reward exceptional voices in independent storytelling. Our inclusive platform allows diverse filmmakers and writers in multiple genres and mediums to showcase their unique talents and innovative perspectives worldwide.

Our annual event and sponsored prize packages focus on bringing value to emerging filmmakers and writers in necessary areas that will benefit their current projects and make their next ones a reality. Our festival is judged by an esteemed jury of industry executives previously and presently associated with NBC UNIVERSAL, PEACOCK TV, SONY, DISNEY, TOUCHSTONE PICTURES, WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY, NETFLIX, ROADMAP WRITERS, ONE MOORER MEDIA & MANAGEMENT, SAINT EMMA PRODUCTIONS, and more.

With a focus on promoting underrepresented voices, we strive to cultivate a compassionate community that encourages creative collaboration and resourceful opportunities to help navigate our highly competitive industry, no matter age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or creed.

Genre Script Competition - Call for entries are currently open for our genre script competition and will close in early November 2025. Placement notifications will be sent in late November with information for our event in December 2025. Seeking outstanding Feature Scripts, Short Scripts, and TV Pilot Scripts in all genres.

Film Festival - Call for entries for our Film Festival are currently closed. Notifications are being sent to our 2025 official selections with ticket and screening information for our red carpet event hosted at the TCL CHINESE 6 THEATRE on Hollywood Boulevard in March 2025.

We're excited to bring new voices to such a historic Hollywood venue, and we'd be delighted to get better acquainted with yours!
