I've won a few awards, worked on some movies and tv shows — I'm hoping to find film creatives interested in making genre-rooted 'arthouse' movies in the A24, NEON, Magnet, Annapurna, etc. vein.

Maurice Vaughn — I made a short a few years ago that played a bunch of festivals, won a few things — 'The Platinum Plan.' You can find it on Vimeo. I also worked on the main title for the HBO series 'The Pacific' — it garnered some industry accolades.

That sounds like me, Chris. I'm currently retooling a retro sci-fi feature script I wrote to "up" the weird and the scary. My mantra is "pitch horror; make art." What's happening with your projects?

John Harden — Well, I edit a network streaming docuseries right now, but, relevant to this site, I have feature script that's gone through some pro consult passes that I'm now trying to figure out how to get produced.

Sure. As it stands right now —
A man with a death wish is bonded to a reincarnated 'dead' woman — he breaks contact, she dies again, disappearing forever. Can he keep her in the world of the living? Same for himself? One night will tell.
I'd watch that. I'd even write it. That's why I did.
Hi Chris! I'm a new screenwriter; I've written a couple original 60-minute pilot scripts but haven't done anything with them yet.
