About Robin

CURRENTLY, ROBIN IS MASTERMINDING CINEMATIC SCREENPLAYS OF LIMITLESS IMAGINATION AND SPECTACULAR RECKONINGS.

Robin Gregory was born in Pensacola, Florida. She studied Literature and Creative Writing at the University of California, Santa Cruz and Stanford Writer’s Workshop. Since then, she has worked for a newspaper as a journalist, written novels and screenplays, and published articles in "Modern Literature", "Film International", and "Ginosko Literary Journal".

Reviews of Robin's award-winning début, The Moojie Littleman, draw parallels to Oliver Twist and Forrest Gump. (Published in 3 languages.) Her characters are clever and brave, but in real life, Robin has stage fright and gets lost in subways. Truth be told, she wouldn’t get very far in one of her stories.

For fun, Robin cooks with her husband and son, hikes up hills backward, and treads on the heels of inspired writers/directors, Taika Waititi, Niki Caro, Benh Zeitlin, Guillermo del Toro, Danny Boyle, and Billy Luther. She was born in Florida and has lived most of her life in California. Her storytelling passion is to infuse ordinary life with mysticism and magical realism.
