Thank you everyone for tuning in today!!

Looking to chat with a Filmmaker/Director who LIVES for Classic Rock even over Cinema. A Todd Haynes type.

God help me. I've spent my entire life with the classic music (including classical) and the TV, films and products that made us from the 60s till today. ALL of my scripts and scriptments celebrate that nostalgia from lost times especially the music with pretty much the same passion Todd Haynes exhib...

Character Psychology and Sugar Cubes: A Filmmaking Lesson from Krzysztof Kieślowski

One of my favorite filmmakers is Krzysztof Kieślowski (1941--1996), and one of my favorites of his works is his 1993 film, TROIS COULEURS: BLEU (Three Colors: Blue) which was the first film of his brilliant Three Colors trilogy. Kieślowski was a master of the detail. His films are often brilliant la...

Brilliant filmmaker, brilliant example. Thanks for sharing Tucker Teague!

Tucker Teague

Geoff Hall I have not read Kieślowski on Kieślowski, but I know of the book and have been planning on reading it in the near future.

Mark Giacomin

I have 'Dekalog' on DVD. I rewatched part/chapter 1 a few weeks ago, that was a punch to the gut. Simple but clever shot of spilled blue ink soaking into a piece of paper.

Geoff Hall

Mark Giacomin yeah, Dekalog is also a classic series and certainly chapter one, or the first commandment does just that. A story brilliantly told.
