About Spike

Raised in the rural Midlands of the UK, and educated in human psychology at De Montfort University Leicester, Spike Thurbon became an innovative leader in the leisure and hospitality industry, moving his unique and unconventional brand to London.

Following a successful fifteen year career spent engaging and interacting with hundreds of thousands of unique and intriguing characters from every walk of life and every corner of the globe, Spike decided to share his wealth of colourful experiences by redirecting his insatiable creativity and natural passion for storytelling into writing as a full time vocation.

Two optioned television series, an optioned feature, episodic audio scripts for a well known IP, television commercials and two soon-to-be-published books (Publishing Editor & Writer) later, Spike continues to formulate some of the best stories never told, with unparalleled originality.

His original TV series, THE COTTON LIBRARY and THE BLITZ WITCHES are currently in pre-production with production studio ADVANCED REALITY LTD and LA STORY STUDIO, sure to be TV game-changers.

His co-written Historical/Adventure/Supernatural feature THE SECRET OF THE KINGS also with ADVANCED REALITY/LA STORY STUDIO, ticks all the boxes of a future blockbuster.

Spike is currently working on his Animated/Family/Comedy, NONAGON: A CAT O' NINE TALES; low-budget, single location comedy short, SAVE THE GRAVES and Historical/Crime/ Thriller, TWELVETIDE: THE TWELVE CRIMES OF CHRISMAS as well as working on a full slate of independent creative projects.
