Benjamin is a career actor with a focus on film. He thrives on speculative fiction such as Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Cyberpunk, etc., and has had roles in most of those genres, along with a selection of roles in more contemporary tales.

While often playing the expected role of villain, he has also been portrayed as an honorable character in a dark place, while others have seen him as a reformed villain or anti-hero. As he says, sometimes it takes a villain to do the right thing.

Training steadily and diligently is key to his strategy for success in his chosen field. He has studied with coaches such as Marco Perella and Tony Sears, among many others, and believes that a professional is one who never stops learning.

He grew up on such stories as Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Swords and Sorcery novels by Fritz Lieber and Robert E. Howard, classic monster tales such as Frankenstein and Dracula, and mythology/folk tales from around the world. He has a longtime appreciation for graphic novels and comic books, and is an avid movie buff. Characters such as Snake Plisken, Riddick, and Blade are a source of inspiration for him, though he focuses on originality rather than trying to emulate what has been done before.

A devoted fan of Bruce Lee, both in terms of movies and philosophy, he is a trained martial artist in spite of physical problems and challenges in his earlier years, and has a healthy appreciation for the discipline that requires.
