Advice for Finding Aspiring Director?

What's the best way to find someone to help me get my short film shot? I am a screenwriter in Raleigh NC-- should I post here in the 'jobs' section? In Facebook groups? Craigslist? The script, if you're interested: 'Wednesday Morning, 7 AM' (time-travel sci fi fantasy): https://www.dropbox.com/s/nj5f7wac2wgf4w8/Wednesday7AM.pdf?dl=0

You need a Producer to get the project off the ground

Ok, I appreciate that. But... It begs the same question: 'What's the best way to DO that?'

Mark Ratering

I would be happy to talk with you maybe on facebook. Have been Producing and directing for 40 years. mratering@hotmail.com send the script I will review

Amanda Toney

Hey David I would definitely make a post in the JOBS board here.

Tony Ginn

David, I don't due Facebook. It is unsafe to put out your works, with my Privacy and Intellectual Properties concerns! Also, I have an ongoing investigation, as to why Zuckerberg allows Porn on its Platform! It is all about missing girls, sex trafficking by techno pimps! Facebook has approximately 2.2B users and ironically, the Porn industry is a $2.2B revenue generator! Somebody is making a profit on the backs of women victims!

Chris Bournea

I think you should try all of the above.

Mark Schaefer

post everywhere and build a crew. Get resumes. Talk, make friends. WE all need friends. discuss expectations. film, edit, make, deliver.

Jorge Barboza

Hey David, good luck with your project! Have you thought of directing yourself, for me if you wrote the project you need to find someone who is able to share your vision of it, any of the options you mentioned are valid, as it was already mentioned here.
