Hello Stage 32ers. I've been on this site for some time now but have never properly introduced myself. So here I am. I currently live in New Orleans after spending most of my adult life in Los Angeles. I did get to travel the US and other parts of the world in the early 90's while on tour as an actor with the broadway show "Oh Calcutta!". I've recently had some success here in NOLA as an actor. I was just in the new "Roots", where I got great direction from director Mario Van Peeples. I've also recently been in "NCIS New Orleans", "Salem", Devious Maids" and "Joe Dirt 2. Yeah I know, real stinker, but it was a job no the less. I am also a writer and producer. I had my own cable access show in Los Angeles called "Sheer Audacity! which ran for 4 years and was very well received. I also wrote and produced a comedy pilot called "Dixie Melodie" in 2007, which is what led me to New Orleans. I am now in the process of developing another show in a completely different vein. It is call "La Nouvelle Orleans". It is historical fiction dealing with New Orleans from the take over by the US in 1803, until the end of the War of 1812, which actually occurred in 1816. It is full of fantastic characters in a story never told before. I have written the pilot and am now working on 11 more episodes to present as a 1st year of what I see as 6 years show. My plan is to have these episodes done by September. Wish me luck. Thanks for reading. Contact me if you want to know more about me or any of my projects. I'm always looking to expand my network.

B.J., I'm so glad that you stepped out of the shadows to properly introduce yourself and your whole background. Wow, what an impressive background you have! Touring on broadway with Oh Calcutta! must have been an incredible experience. And, then, to parlay your theater experience into TV and Feature roles, that is what most actors dream of! Then, add your own cable show and writing on top of it. I'd say you have had quite a ride. Keep working hard on the 11 episodes for your show... stay focused and now you will hopefully add tv writer to your resume.

I second that, B.J. Hope you'll be posting more often going forward! Good things happen in the light!

Thanks for taking the time to read. I'm not really big on talking about myself, but I know that networking with others can only help down the road. Thanks again.

No question. You're most welcome!
