If my stage muscal doesn't make it to the screen, as a movie, it could be curtains for a wonderful idea.

17 years ago my co-writer and Composer put pen to paper to create a musical fit for a Princess. "Call Me Diana" The story of the broken fairy tale of a Princess loved by millions.

We have written and rewritten until the perfection we required was evident, (although we still rewrite, and will do until our story is told to to total perfection).

We Showcased "Call Me Diana" in London's West End in September 2019. We had the best reaction from the public, not just standing ovations but outstanding ovations, and hundreds of wonderful comments.

Unfortunately Covid had other ideas for our show. With theatre sitting dark it wasn't the environment to sell in a new show. Even now, Producers and investors are concentrating on getting there existing shows back out there.

Some of the greatest musicals were presented on the silver screen, the list is endless. So maybe there's room for another classic musical, on film.

I am a UK commercials director, I've created more TV spots than any other individual in the world, so I know film and love film.

View our Showcase, but remember it's a Showcase. Low budget. No, or very few costumes. The big scenery for the spectacular scenes isn't there. Just 7 of the 24 original music tracks.

Diana, Princess of Wales is still very top of mind, she still commands attention, and will do for a very long time to come.

Here's the link to a 16 minute trailer of our hour long Showcase of the full two and a half hour show:

Hi Brian, I'd like to thank you for your commercial work. I'm going to Ad school in the fall here in Canada. And I remember spending summers in a duplex near the O2 centre in London with my family, watching some of your spots on television in between whatever was on the ITV. I greatly appreciate the humour, and originality you've brought to your work.

Hi Kenneth, Thank you. You were watching ITV to get ads, as the BBC doesn't run advertising. There may have been some of my spots on when you were in London. I wish you every success in your career in advertising.

Kenneth Oko-Oboh

Hi Brian, it was the ITV haha ! Thanks for the correction.

I'm a song lyricist among other things and I think you've done an incredible job, I love musical theatre and my cowriter and I are working on a project we hope to get off the ground in the future. Good luck with it and I look forwardbto reading updates :)
