What is your angle in developing your film package plan? Your strategy? Your winning formula when pitching your feature film project?

Hi guys, it's Daniel the filmmaker here!

Here's an update on my horror feature film project.

I've just recently finished my script, after being locked in my room for over 2 months writing.

Now, I'm doing some revisions on my third draft, putting the finishing touches on it, meanwhile preparing my film package plan.

It's not a very sophisticated package plan-- it includes the script, the treatment, a tagline & some artwork. So, after giving it some thoughts, I asked myself: How can you make it more effective? How can you give it an edge? How can you make it have an immediate impact? And, as I thought I found out the missing link, I've added another element to it, which is rarely included in film package plans or pitch decks. It is a unique element... My "secret weapon" you might say.

And I'm taking a lot of risks by including it, too. But, you know what they say "You take no risks, you get no rewards!"

What is your pitching strategy? What's your angle? Thank you guys! Stay tuned!!✍️

Nice to see you again Daniel Latteo! I agree that film packages need a little something “extra” so I’m glad you found a secret weapon to include. I would love to see more Italian horror movies so good luck!!

Hi Colette, nice to see you again too!

Oh yes, if I'm able to get this first feature of mine off the ground, you'll see plenty of Italian horror films, as I intend to be the successor of Italian horror master Dario Argento.

So long, and see you on stage32!!

As a writer with no aspirations to direct, I don't do packages. That's the producer's job.
