The strikes are over, so when does pitching season begin? Find out why I think this is going to be anything but a normal winter in Hollywood as major production companies and studios rush to market to save 2024. I have some thoughts on where I think things are going. What do you think? https://www.filmtvlaw.com/blog/2023/11/13/post-strike-pitching-season

Thanks for the breakdown, Brandon Blake. I'm glad the industry is starting to get back on its feet. I've seen a lot of producers, directors, and companies looking for projects since the strikes have ended, mainly indie producers, directors, and companies.

Fascinating article. I wonder what avenues producers/executives will be looking down, when seeking out talent ready to pitch? I work professionally as an IATSE lighting technician, and I'm still shell-shocked from this long period of work-stoppage. As a writer and filmmaker, I have no idea what to do next; the industry is changing so much.

Chris, It is also an issue of the networks and studios being very short staffed right now, so their own capabilities are limited. Getting their attention on projects is key.
