Your Stage : QUESTION: Uploading full screenplay to Stage32 profile by Frederick Martine (Rick) Rauschenbach Jr

QUESTION: Uploading full screenplay to Stage32 profile

Still working on my profile.....

I have a screenplay file version with & without Title Page, that includes contact info, verbiage, etc. What's the recommended protocol here, considering it may get forwarded for script services, to producers/execs, etc.

Should I lead/include with a Title Page? Followed by 1 page Synopsis? No synopsis? Then the 90-120 pages?

Once uploaded, can I control visibility, download permissions?

Grateful to you all!

Hi, Frederick Martine (Rick) Rauschenbach Jr. I always include a title page because like you said, the script may get forwarded to producers/execs, etc.

I don't put the synopsis in the script. I put a short synopsis in the "Synopsis" part of the Logline page. I save the long synopsis for the treatment.

No, once the script is uploaded, you can't control visibility or download permissions.

Thanks Maurice! Valuable info once again! Follow up: So if I use a script service, say “First 10 Page review”… do I know once the exec downloads/ views it? Can I remove it anytime, replace it with rewrite? Is there no protection to track who accessed it ?

You're welcome, Frederick Martine (Rick) Rauschenbach Jr. I'm not sure. I suggest emailing writerhelp@stage32.com.
