GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE:

A vengeful resident returns home to make a small-town detective, and some of the residents pay for the sins they committed thirty years ago.

SYNOPSIS:

Renee Stephenson is a detective in her small town where everyone knows each other by name. Married to her high school sweetheart, Renee is well-liked in the department. The biggest cases she and her rookie partner Anderson investigate are the occasional burglaries and peeping toms. So when a local businesswoman is brutally attacked, they are thrown for a loop.

In investigating this case, they started receiving text messages and voicemails warning them that this was just the beginning and all of the messages ended with "Happy Anniversary." They ignore them at first, but when the next two victims, one being torn apart by dogs, as a figure watches pet them, they now know, the messages were indeed warnings.

As the victim list grows, the same message that they got, the victims also received: "Happy Anniversary." Anderson questions Renee on what this could mean. Renee knows there is an incident that happened thirty years ago in which she played a part as well as some of the victims, but due to their investigation, it seems that it may be all a coincidence, right?

Renee discovers an old file in the chief's office, that is labeled Tracy. Renee knows that name very well because that is the girl that she helped set up in a brutal game of revenge. Renee looks at the calendar and realizes that the date is the same as the "incident."

As Renee races to find her husband, she is knocked unconscious. From here, we see Tracy, a not-so-attractive teenager who had an abusive homelife that ranged from mental and emotional to her family. So when Renee pretended to be her friend, Tracy welcomed it with open arms. But what Tracy did not know was that Renee was not her friend and the events that followed were cruel and brutal. Tracy was violated by 10 young men as Renee, her high school sweetheart, and his best friend go around the school telling everyone Tracy was sleeping with the 10 men voluntarily. Laughing and giggling as they spread the word.

Renee wakes up to find Tracy sitting in front of her, looking like a new person. Tracy informs Renee that she has come to rectify the past. As Tracy is about to inject Renee with a nerving agent, Anderson rushes in. But he is not there to save the day, because you see there's a twist. Anderson removes his fake beard, mustache, and contacts. Renee looks as tears swell in her eyes. "Anderson" is the spitting image of her high school sweetheart. Yes, this is Tracy's son.

Tracy and "Anderson" put Renee in a coffin to take her to her final resting place and as the coffin lid closes, she sees, "You Have Reaped what You Sowed."
