After the recent death of their mom, estranged siblings attend a Halloween train party and must mend their relationship to save their friends from a parasitic virus that turns passengers into the undead.

SYNOPSIS:

It's Halloween night when estranged sisters Jamie and Bela reluctantly reunite to attend a costume party together. Still grieving from the recent loss of their mother in a car accident a year prior, for which Jamie blames herself, the sisters now cope in their separate ways - Jamie relying on prescription pills to deal with PTSD and survivor’s guilt, and Bela finding solace at the bottom of a bottle. But the night takes a sinister turn when they board a train filled with costumed partygoers.

A mysterious illness begins spreading among passengers after a sick cat with an alien parasite exploding from its stomach sneaks aboard and infects the train's engineer. The engineer soon turns into a zombie-like creature along with other infected riders. Trapped on the locomotive turning into a virtual graveyard on tracks, Jamie and Bela have no choice but to push aside their differences and work together to save their friends and themselves from the zombie scourge threatening them all.

Tapping into her logic and survival skills, Jamie takes the lead to help define the nature of the outbreak, while the gut instincts of Bela alert them to unseen dangers. Fighting their way through narrow train corridors jammed with the living dead, the sisters race against the clock to make it up front hoping the crew can provide salvation. Instead, they discover those operators already transformed into the undead. Now only the sisters stand between the monster outbreak spilling into the outside world. To save humanity, Jamie must conquer her own inner demons and PTSD to drive the doomed train to safety while Bela covers her back. Bonded by blood and loss, through adversity the sisters grow stronger together as they accept their grief and defeat the parasitic evil unleashed on what was meant to be just another Halloween.
