Ha. So I obviously don't use this much. :) What are you currently working on?
You got the idea and the concept... but the play itself is fighting you.... what do you do?
I have play concept in mind, the thought of the play struck from an image and the concept or the question that I want to raise to mind in the play. The idea is there, but I have thirty some pages written and it is fighting me. So do I step back from it or start from scratch or just press on? Your thoughts? Gavion E. Gavion. That happened to me one time and I just stepped away from it for almost a year, writing other projects to supply me with the basics of life. Came back to it and it was like starting over except I already had the idea written. Finished it and optioned it a week later.
It's very common for a writer to get stuck at some point in the process. As you are only 30 pages in, consider that you may need to develop your characters more in your pre-writing. Perhaps you don't...

Hey Anna, we recently added the ability for users to subscribe to Lounge topics. To get you started, we've automatically subscribed you to the production topic. You can see the latest posts in your subscribed topics by clicking the My Lounge subscriptions tab on your wall. You can easily add and update Lounge subscriptions by clicking Manage my subscriptions from the same page. Enjoy!

My favorite cure for writer's block is a great idea. Without a mind-warping idea, you either settle for second best or end up dead in the water. When an idea really grabs you by the short hairs, you can't quit. For me, the pleasure of writing comes when I can't wait to get back to it.

Hey Will, I just wanted to give you an update on a couple of recent additions/refinements to the site. First, we've added the ability for you to upload a resume to your profile. Just click on the "Resume" link in your profile menu to get started. We've also refined the Screenplay section. For starters, we've added the option to add a screenplay synopsis. We've also streamlined the layout making it easier for others to review your screenplay's title, genre, and logline. Thanks. --RB
