LOGLINE:

A beautiful law student from a rich business family, loving music, tasked to choose between a rich fancy student singer and student baller of un-known wealth.

SYNOPSIS:

At The City University, one of the universities promoting all forms of students’ talents in conjunction with their professional studies, are the happy talented students doing their best to achieve both talent and education.

John, a City University football striker, loving music but keeps away from it because of his only elder football legend brother who he keeps in secret as well as his true identity, he happens to get a photo of the most beautiful university music band leader Sara from the university platform, who he is sure should be his future wife.

One morning, John teams up his two friends; Isaac and Muse, re-introducing them to Sara’s photo on his phone screen, Isaac tells him of a possibility of making him meet Sara face to face, ask for a phone number and possibly a date. Isaac asks for a price, which is John providing him an assist or granting him a penalty in a competitive match, John gives it a thought and to their surprise he accepts.

John following Isaac’s idea, being IT students with the two friends, they distort the local network of computers and machines in the well organized university music lab and later bump into the failed music session as technicians to rectify the problem, after the music instructor calling for help. John is stranded where to start from with the two friends already in for work, Isaac signals him to go to Sara’s computer and he has no choice but to go.

John gets close to Sara for the first time, his phone screen lighting and Sara notices her photo displayed before the backlight goes off, John nervously trying to take a look at Sara, but always caught in action by Sara’s eye and he pretends to be concentrating on the computer. John, in tension being close to Sara, notices his fancy confident competitor Jacob from a well known rich family, a small distance from them and keeping attention on both of them.

The music instructor as well as Jacob, impatient and not sure of the three’s competence in rectifying the music lab problem, their inquisitiveness prompts Muse into unintentionally asking John whether he is done with the girl which Isaac rashly changes into girdle, this awakens Sara who asks John what girdle means, shortly lighting up John’s phone screen displaying her photo. John, under shock with no word, she worsens it by displaying her student ID to him, with her being a law student, not social science as he read from her friend’s profile where he got the photo, she mentions him doing an upgrade of stalking. He is saved from more questions by the friends, rectifying the problem and taking him out.

John from winning the semi-finals for his team, in a match where Sara’s band did an amazing center pitch stage performance, Sara promises Jacob a date after the match, the date is postponed by a sudden bus fire accident in which John nearly also dies saving Sara from the bus. Everyone is happy for John’s hero move to save Sara, she asks for his phone number amidst a scandal of him refusing a huge pay reward from Jacob for saving her in front of her parents.

Sara having recovered, the following day after a music practice in preparation for the annual universities’ music competition, with Jacob having pushed in his business proposal to her business dad, she accepts his date again and this comes as shocking news to John who had come to her home to re-confess his love.

John is devastated over Sara having gone for her first date with Jacob from her family maid, he is called in and welcomed into the home by Sara’s mother who seem to like him, he joins with Sara’s dad in the living room and they start jazzing as he waits for Sara, but refuses discussing his family information when asked by Sara’s dad.

John having waited for long at Sara’s home in the night, he decides to leave and on his way out, Sara shows up in Jacob’s car from the date, John’s presence spoils Jacob’s after date moment as Sara moves out of the car by herself, not saying a bye, moves inquisitively to John in the compound and Jacob annoyed leave with his friends. John re-confesses his love to her not knowing her parents are also listening at the entrance, Sara confused without an answer to him, rushes into the house, by-passing her parents at the entrance, her mum follows her up and John takes a leave.

Sara confused and followed up by her mum, imparts words about love and men into her head, which continuously run through her head, making her grab her car keys and move out of the house. On his way back home, John is stalked and severely assaulted by Jacob and his two friends, breaking his two legs as he chooses Sara over his soccer career. Unexpected Sara’s car coming towards them saves John, Jacob with team run off the scene, Sara drags John into her car to the hospital and it’s in the hospital that his true identity is revealed being a son of a rich football legend, John being richer than anyone could have imagined.

John’s true identity revealed, Sara gets Jacob and friends arrested, John’s brother charges the three for attempted murder. With the evidence police have, Jacob is informed of a possible seven years in prison which the dad couldn’t allow and abides with John’s demands of almost half of his wealth to drop the charges.

Jacob not imprisoned but expelled from the university creating a way for John into the band for the competition and winning his first kiss in a wheelchair from Sara on stage after winning the music competition against Jacob.
