Emma Glass is a rigid 20-something advice columnist from Harlem. When an accident leaves 5 year old sister Ella fighting for her life, Emma struggles to slow down a fast approaching deadline. She must choose between allowing a risky experimental surgery or attending a mandatory custody hearing scheduled the same day. Both are important but in which order? Time is running out and Emma must decide quickly the best way to put Ella first.
