This sounds like an interesting story, Scott Sawitz. I think the logline needs just a little work. Here's a logline suggestion: "When she's diagnosed with terminal cancer, a ___________ (adjective) painter tries to (or "sets out to") explore all the areas of her life that she's ignored in her pursuit of artistic expression before it's too late."

I'd say "a young painter" vs "twenty-something". Cleaner writing and saying twenty-something might give the impression that you don't have clarity with your protagonist.

Great suggestion with introverted, implies obstacle/conflict with "setting out to explore..."

You're right, Sam Cochran. There's a dilemma. Stay inside and miss out on exploring all the areas of her life that she's ignored, or leave her house (something she probably doesn't want to do) to explore those things.
