Pitch Outline
Logline:
Seeking a direction that lines up with your Mission, starts with examining your past and
learning from it.
The Livingston Family tried to explore some exciting destinations and live a
life that they had witnessed in movies.
From the Caribbean to most of the USA, the family lived
a lifestyle that appealed to everyone and now would be compared to many of the modern
- day reality tv shows.
Exotic locations and exciting storylines are central themes in Searching for the Perfect
Place.
Each character has a unique role that highlights their inner journey thru this non-stop exciting fiction novel.
It twists and turns and builds upon the initial plot.
Act I
*
The Livingston Family shared the same desires and feelings that your average family wanted for
themselves. They wanted to live their lives in a way that allowed them to grow economically and
spiritually.
While they travelled throughout the USA and the Caribbean, their experiences opened unlimited
learning experiences that created unforgettable adventurous opportunities. Marlene’s faith in God
helped her through some of the unexpected challenges that the family encountered.
Island lifestyle offered the Livingston children an insight into living in the tropics. Whether they were building tree houses or hiking
up and down the mountain to the local beach every day. Their skin
became golden brown like it was kissed by the sun.
Act II
Marlene and Roland’s children (Ernest, Kenneth, Monique) uncovered hidden talents in dance, music and science. Performing at home and throughout Mexico for the small
- town communities afforded the kids with various venues to showcase their hidden talents.
Roland, an up and coming photographer, tried to achieve some since of normalcy in his children’s lives by pleading with his wife to allow him to keep the kids. After the Livingstons and their family friends were deported for the second time from Mexico, Marlene dropped the children off at her husband’s sister’s house in the south.
Falling back on her creative gifts, Marlene started touring Canada and the USA giving Mediation and Yoga demonstrations. The kids tried to fall into the normal and everyday lifestyle of school and routine living.
Act III
Monique, the youngest child, was torn between living with her Mom or Dad. A
life changing accident
changed the course of her life. Recovering from a hip injury was no easy task. Six weeks of recovery,
being confined to a bed in traction, Monique dreamed of her recovery.
After a year of intensive therapy, Monique worked her way
back from a life changing injury. In spite of
the odds ahead, she was determined not to allow herself to be discouraged by the pain or potential
obstacles that many observers saw in her way. With her family and support from friends, Monique could make the cheerleading squad and find one of her many life altering career changes.
*
From a teenager to Midlife, Monique encountered endless opportunities to express the many God
- Given gifts and talents that she was blessed with. Whether she was walking the runway or sitting in a board room, she tried to showcase her desire to make a difference no matter where she was or what she was doing. As a professor, she always gave her students everything she had to empower them to be their very best. With all the countless role models that she had been blessed to know along the way, she loved serving humanity and extending a helping hand each day.

Important Note Genre Fiction based on real life events
Tasha Lewis research what a logline is and isn't. You have a great idea but make it spark with a great logline right now it is most confusing best
Thank you Kacee for your rating and feedback. My loglines were written prior to Stage 32 and having the full definition of a logline to answer What, When, Where and Who.

I gave you a 5, Tasha, although I think you can improve your logline by revisiting the formula and applying it for this compelling story you have: Formula: 1. Set up of protagonist (create empathy with a brief descriptive), 2. describe the dilemma/problem, 3. the action your protag will take to reach 4. the goal with a 5. twist of irony. Best of luck!

Logline:
The Livingston Family try to explore some exciting destinations and live a lifestyle they witnessed in movies. But find that to understand their mission in life they must look to their past.
From the Caribbean to vacation spots in USA, the family lived a lifestyle of the rich and famous.
But instead of bringing them together it drove them apart.
Exotic locations and exciting storylines are central themes, yet leave the children searching for the Perfect Place.
As for structure the little girl's accident occurs at the end of Act II, the low point.
Thank you for your feedback George. The order was written chronological. I will keep that in mind during future edits.
