Frank and Carson is a drama script with themes of protection, guardianship, loyalty, and salvation.

Waylon Owens has served thirty years in a Pennsylvania prison. He was tried as an adult for the murder of his parents at age thirteen. The only witness to the murders was California (Callie), Waylon’s five-year-old sister.

After his release at age forty-three Waylon learns that his sister has passed away. He is going back to the infamous Owen Murder House to try and restart his life.

Everyone in town is not happy about his release. He befriends Hetty, the owner of a local hardware store. She introduces him to Orion a handyman and the owner of Smetton and Son Piano Store. Orion’s only son Benji is a blind, autistic, piano savant. He can play any song he hears perfectly.

Hetty tells Waylon about the Eastern State Penitentiary Halloween Night's famous gargoyles Frank and Carson. Waylon drives there to check it out and almost hits two senior stray dogs running loose. He manages to catch them and takes them to an animal clinic to see if they are chipped.

Frankie Pernelli is the owner and head vet at the clinic. She is drawn in by Waylon’s kindness and model-like looks. Waylon has instant feelings for Frankie. The two can’t stay away from each other and Frankie learns the truth about Waylon’s past.

Waylon needs to get out of town fast. He is planning on making gargoyle water spouts for houses. He is learning the art of mold-making. He wants to sell his family's house with all the dark memories.

Orion has a massive heart -attack and dies leaving Benji a ward of the state in a mental facility.

A tweeter with a gun comes into Frankie’s clinic looking for drugs and she is beat up and nearly rapped in the process. Waylon surprises the tweeter and empties his gun killing the intruder instantly. Frankie lies and tells police it was her defending herself and nothing happens to Waylon.

Waylon kidnaps Benji and saves him from a horrible life.

Waylon moves and his new family is Benji, Frank, and Carson. Frankie finds them and buys the animal clinic up the street from his gargoyle shop. Years later they have a son and Waylon can let go of the ghosts that have haunted him all those years.
