LOGLINE:

Two sisters fight for survival when they become trapped in a sinister house and must solve its mystery while avoiding a monstrosity lurking in the dark.

SYNOPSIS:

A mysterious body hangs from a tree setting off a propulsive and energetic horror feature. We meet Zara and Courtney, our two main leads; sisters who although love each other, have drifted apart. The two decide to head for the woods for a camping trip. Left home is Zara's wife, Willow, a pregnant woman who hides a deep, dark secret.

Upon reaching their location, Zara and Courtney trek through the dense wood and hear a scream. Thinking someone is in trouble, they investigate only to find a decrepit home nestled in the woods with no roads in or out. A young voice cries out, and once our two leads step inside, the door disappears. Desperate for a way out, the sister's search for an exit and come face to face with a monstrous entity. A cat and mouse game ensues as the sister's discover a helpful note that details how to escape the home. Evading the entity while searching for clues a la escape-room style proves difficult when Courtney falls prey to the monster. Beaten and bruised, Zara is able to find the exit, and incapacitate the monster, so she thinks.

Returning home, Zara thinks she is safe. She details the experience to Willow who reveals herself to be involved in the house in the woods, entangled in something demonic. Willow attempts to kill Zara, and during the struggle, Willow bolts and leaves an injured Zara, who at the end of the story is in the hospital recovering and toiling with the death of her sister, hell bent on revenge. Willow, on the other hand, is sulking in defeat wondering how to fix her screw-up before those above her find out.
