A BAD COLD

A BAD COLD
By Gen Vardo

GENRE: Thriller, Crime
LOGLINE:

Buried in debt, a broken man learns of the time a famous thief will break into his home and auctions off the experience 'Get away with murder', unaware of the graphic devastation that lies ahead.

SYNOPSIS:

Christopher rallied himself in a superhuman way to keep his mother alive after she was given a six month life expectancy.

Three years later, after she passes, Christopher is left with nothing but an insurmountable level of debt, and barely the shell of his former self.

This could all change after Christopher learns of the time a famous thief will break into his home.

He calls his old friends around the night The Thief will appear, and auctions off the experience 'Get away with murder'.

The Thief arrives to an all too quiet street facing an all too ominous house, draped in moonlight, its windows and doors wide open, its occupants spread out in the shadows wielding their weapon of choice.

Blue Cat Review:

An enigmatic protagonist drives an engrossing crime story that slowly reveals its true nature via a steady unfolding of increasingly tense events in this poignant, and compelling mystery crime thriller.

Wow, this is interesting I'm curious how he finds out about someone robbing his home..and if he's knee in debt, maybe this is what he needs, I'm curious, sounds interesting!

I definitely get the thriller vibe right away, I almost feel sorry for the thief already! I think it gets a bit muddled in the middle, perhaps the wording is loose. I wasn't sure if this was sci-fi, he learns things about the future, or if he just gets a tip about the robbery.

Thanks Niki H. Not sci-fi. He learns of a hidden camera pointed at his house recording his comings and goings, The Thief's modus operandi. He then manipulates The Thief to get there at a certain time with his comings and goings, and a simple way of making sure they collect the camera on Friday.
