A child's doll becomes envious of her new toy and decides to do something about it during the night.

SYNOPSIS:

As Isabelle is tucked in at night by her father, she thanks him for all her new birthday presents, particularly a new teddy bear, Mr Snuggles which she clutches tightly. He kisses her goodnight, but as he leaves he notices her favourite doll Princess Rainbow sat on a shelf. He asks if she's not going to give her doll cuddles anymore, and Isabelle replies she loves Mr Snuggles more because he's more cuddly. He turns off the light and closes the door.

As Isabelle rolls over and closes her eyes, the doll falls off the shelf onto the floor. Isabelle glances over her shoulder, but sees nothing. She turns back closing her eyes. Behind her the doll climbs up onto the bed and stares at Isabelle with devilish eyes. The doll peers over Isabelle at the teddy clutched in her arms. Isabelle rolls back squashing the doll under her. She feels the object underneath her and pulls it out. She looks at the now frozen doll confused before casting it across the room.

Isabelle closes her eyes and tries to sleep again. The doll meanwhile approaches a desk in the corner of the room and climbs up the handles of a stack of drawers. It gets to the desk surface and spots a pair of child's safety scissors in a pot full of pens. The doll pulls the scissors knocking the pot over and spilling the pens across the desk. Isabelle opens her eyes and looks over at the desk, but all she sees are scattered pens. She closes her eyes again.

The doll climbs up onto the bed holding the scissors in both hands. It slowly approaches Isabelle snapping the scissors open and shut. Isabelle opens her eyes to see the doll coming toward her. She sits up startled clutching the teddy tightly. She opens her mouth in a state of shock, but no sound comes out.

The next morning her father enters the room to find Isabelle sat up in bed and her teddy torn to pieces, stuffing scattered everywhere. He looks around the room shocked. He spots the scissors by Isabelle's hands and assumes she cut up the teddy. She tries to protest it was the doll, but he looks at the doll sitting innocently on the shelf and refuses to believe her. He leaves the room to get the vacuum cleaner. Isabelle looks up at the doll. It smiles smugly and winks at her. Isabelle let's out a short gasp.
