A man wakes to find himself locked inside his new apartment and haunted by a mysterious woman.

SYNOPSIS:

Tim has moved into a new apartment leased by a creepy looking landlord, but at such a cheap rate it's only a minor flaw. Fully furnished with leftovers from the previous tenant, Tim can't quite believe his luck. Later than night, while Tim is asleep in bed, he wakes to see light streaming under the bedroom door from the hallway outside. He sits up alert and almost stops breathing when he sees a shadow cut through the light and the sound of a muffled cough. As the light disappears Tim decides to check, but finds nothing. Assuming it was all in his head he goes back to bed. However, early the next morning Tim gets ready to go to work, but when he tries to open the front door he finds it's locked shut and the key doesn't work. He hears someone outside and bangs on the door screaming for help, but he gets no answer. When he looks through the peephole, he sees the horrifying image of a young woman covered in blood. When he looks again, she's gone.

Tim tries dialling for help, but his cell phone has no signal and the landline is dead. He tries to open the windows, but they are sealed shut. He notices a young woman walking past outside and bangs on the window calling for help, but it's clear the windows are sound proof. Still the woman seems to hear him and looks up to reveal herself to be the same woman covered in blood.

Tim bangs on the walls to try and alert his neighbours to no avail when suddenly the television screen turns on showing static snow and a crackling sound. As he is about to turn it off with the remote the woman covered in blood appears on the screen startling him. The words 'It's too late flashes up on screen. Tim switches the television off and makes his way over to the front door. He tries barging it open with his shoulder, but it's no use. He collapses to the floor distraught.

The woman covered in blood appears before him and approaches. He gets to his feet asking who she is. She does not speak, but merely reaches out with both hands cupping a bleeding human heart. He asks what she wants. She drops the heart on the floor and plunges her hand into his chest. He screams...

...and opens his eyes to find himself lying on his dining room table unable to move. The landlord approaches wearing surgical attire pulling over a tray of operating utensils. The landlord explains he has injected Tim with a paralytic and will be unable to squirm as he works. He hopes he can keep Tim alive longer than the others. Tim watches with wide eyes as the landlord begins to cut him open with a knife.
