A gamekeeper finds a mysterious young woman on the land he works and chooses to protect her from the men who wish to take her back, but she’s hiding a dark secret.

SYNOPSIS:

Munroe is the gamekeeper of a large estate, his only companion is his trusty hound Lennox. Whilst walking the grounds one morning he finds the body of a young woman, Sabina, lying unconscious amongst the leaves. Her dress torn, burn marks on her skin and blood on her face.

Munroe takes her back to his shack and tends to her wounds. When she comes round, she explains she was taken from her home in Romania, locked in a shipping container and brought over to be sold. Munroe offers to take her to the manor house to call the police once she has her strength back.

A few hours later Munroe has a visit from three eastern European men who are looking for a young woman. Munroe suggests they leave, due to their trespassing, but they hear a noise inside the shack and suspect Munroe has her. They threaten Munroe, but he is quick to put them in their place with a couple of well placed shots from his rifle. They skulk away vowing to return for Sabina.

Munroe takes Sabina to the manor house to keep her safe, expecting the men to return later that night. He asks the Lord of the manor to take care of her until he returns. Munroe then heads back to his shack to set up traps and prepare to defend himself. As he anticipated, the three men return, but with back-up. Several are caught by Munroe's traps and the rest are eliminated by Munroe and his rifle. With the final man taking his last breath, he gives Munroe a warning. He tells him that the girl must die, she is not human.

Munroe takes his warning seriously and rushes back to the manor house where he finds nobody replying to his calls. He makes his way to the Lord's bedroom to find a torn and bloody corpse on the bed. Lurking in the shadows is Sabina, her eyes red, breathing heavily. As Munroe turns to raise his rifle at her, she lunges toward him as he fires.
