About Samuel

I'm a screenwriter in Ohio looking to make connections with both the entertainment world at large and especially with other creative folks in the U.S. Midwest.

I've worked in screenplay development with Zero Gravity Management (producers of Ozark), as well as contracted work in script doctoring and treatment writing for both features and TV pilots, dialogue writing for video games. and short script sales (?ref_=adv_li_tt). I've also been a semi-finalist in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition and a finalist in the H.P Lovecraft Film Festival Screenplay contest. My short stories and poems have been published over 60 times and have earned 3 Honorable Mentions in the annual "Year's Best Fantasy and Horror" anthologies. My favorite genre to write is horror, though my interests broadly include anything dark, speculative, or off-beat.
