About Shane

Director, Producer, and Writer with Slashproof Productions.

Hailing from Michigan, Shane has always sought to create things, whether that be through scientific rigors or artistic pursuits. While setting aside writing to finish his degree in Forensic Biology, even as he collected notes for a variety of scripts he would eventually go on to pen. During a contract that put him on a fishing boat, collecting data for the EPA, Shane completed his first manuscript (as well as a novel).

It wasn't until attending a local horror convention that Shane would begin taking a more active hand in development, starting with directing and writing the short film Elder Growth, followed the next year by Captive of a Death Mask, as well as a series of short film projects.

Currently, he is writing on several spec projects for a local film production company as well as finishing editing on his latest film Stabbing with Frank.

Unique traits: Small black spot on skull may be mildly radioactive.
