Good Morning, Creative Army!

This morning as I brew with a french press, creating videos while flying solo comes to mind. Most of us have done it, want to do it, or could use some tips on how to improve our self-tapes or tutorials.

Even shooting a short film starring ourselves can be tricky.

So while we brew, let's dig into the first video today from Peter McKinnon, How to Film Yourself. Even with zero budget, you can create a great video with just a few tools. The short video below shows you how.

And to bring it full circle, Tech Talk dives deep into How to Film and Edit on Your Smartphone. Sure, you've done it a few times, but how is the audio quality? The lighting? Are you able to keep your smartphone still while recording?

These videos serve as a refresher for those of you looking to expand your YouTube channel or tutorials. Or, for you solo filmmakers with a short film in mind, quality can still be had with a simple piece of technology in your hand.
