One difference between different countries is if one has to ask for permission before starting to film somewhere.
The situation here in Sweden is such that in practice one rarely has to ask for permission. The legal situation is related to what is written here

I have never visited USA, but my impression is that the situation is the very opposite. How much trouble does it give you who film in USA? Or film in other countries where one must ask for permission.
