Good evening,
I'm looking for a writing group here on Stage 32 that is composed of other screenwriters who are looking to improve their craft. I feel like I've hit a wall, therefore I feel like I must expose my work to other people in order to improve. I've been doing this for years, but I feel like I'm floundering. I want to improve to a point that I'm getting noticed. Therefore, I would rather go for people that would be willing to criticize me in an effort to build me up. I'm willing to do this for a lot of other people as well.

Hey Joshua. I’m thinking of forming my own writers group myself. You can check out the details on my latest lounge post in the screenwriting lounge. Trying to see if writers would be interested and go from there. If you know anyone else that would be interested let them know.

We have several times/days to join other writers through S32's Writer's Room but really all it takes is you posting on this lounge with a Zoom (or other) link, log in on the date/time specified and see who shows. I've seen similar groups grow from a handful to multi-screen Zooms. Free Zoom account has restrictions for participants and time length so keep that in mind unless you're willing to pay for an upgrade to do this.

Hi Joshua. I also am a screenwriter. I've been doing it for a while, but only recently started opening up and showing my work to other people. That was actually why I initially started getting more active here on stage 32, to find a writers group. I'd be glad to exchange work with you.

Joshua - I would be glad to become involved in a private/invitation only group of serious mid-level and above screenwriters. But beware of just opening it up to all as a public group or you will be swamped by the flotsam drifting around out there. Half a dozen vetted writers would be workable. I'm interested, Dan G's interested. You've been doing this for years.
