About Pedro

Pedro Augusto Brenner (Mexico City, Mexico, 1974).
Bachelors Degree in Communication Media and Marketing graduating in December 2001 .
In 1998 he began his career as the host of the Radio Show Hard Digest in Monterrey Mexico,
and in 2002 he pursued a Masters in Film Directing at the Centre d'Estudis Cinematografics
de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.
Pedro is an award-winning director, writer and producer he has been selected 50+ times,
nominated 35+ times and has won 13 film festivals. He has worked in the fields of entertainment,
advertising and politics for 15 years, his work expands to both sides of the film spectrum
(narrative and documentary) which brings an enhanced feeling of realness to his film work.
Born in Mexico of Spanish-French and Swedish-Irish parents, Pedro is fully bilingual
(EnglishlSpanish) he has lived and worked in multiple Countries in Europe and the Americas,
in 2006 he Became a permanent resident of the U.S.
His Latest Documentary "Gus an American Icon" (Feat Film Doc 89min)
portrays the extraordinary American Jazz & Dance journey through the life of Jazz
Dance founding father Gus Giordano. "Gus an American IconH has been official
selected by 35 film festivals internationally and has won best Feature Film Documentary
10 times. ()
His latest Short Narrative Film "Help Me Please" was edited By Nicholas Goodman
(Editor Star Wars trailers for Lucasfilm), the original music was produced by Jay
Vincent (Lego Ninjal Broken Dreams) and it was post produced by Neel Upadhye
at EA sports in California. This Short Film just won best editing at the Burbank
International Film Festival and has been selected for Best Short at BIFF and
Louisville's International Festival of Film. ()
Since the Fall of 2011 he has been in pre-production for Amanda's America, a new
reality - doc who captures the struggle of a female lawyer in the world of lobbying on
Washington DC (). he is also in development of the Action
Thriller "Redress", the Feature version of the dramatic dark comedy "Help Me Please"
and the inspirational modern miraculous story of "lady of Gadalupe"
To date, Pedro has directed 12 feature docs. His major published works as director include:
