Adam Cyzner

Hi there! I am a Wesleyan University student pursuing a double major in film and psychology. I am currently a Literary Manager Assistant with Corvisiero Literary Agency under Tessa Shaffer, exploring both the worlds of book publishing and screenwriting. My passion in film centers around development and the process in bringing a story to life on the screen whether as a movie or television program. I am especially interested in writing and producing. I particularly love psychological thrillers, horror, and dark comedies because although they may appear disturbing or fantastical, they can remain grounded in reality and reveal truths about the human condition by providing a different perspective that becomes imbedded in our brains through the cerebral imagery. My favorite movies include The Babadook, Eighth Grade, Promising Young Woman, and Coraline, and I adore books in similar genres such as "The Push" by Audrey Audrain and "We Are the Ants" by Shaun David Hutchinson.

I am also passionate about LGBTQ+ representation in all forms of media including film, television, and novels and inclusivity in the entertainment industry. I desire to find stories that promote inclusivity and reveal a new perspective on human nature. Behavior is a complex structure, and my experience as a Registered Behavior Technician as well as my interest in psychology, particularly personality, allows me to analyze stories and infer how an audience may experience them.
