About Nick

Born in 2006 in Athens, Greece and currently living in Spain, Nick started filming from a young age, making stories and photographing everything. During 2020- 2021 he made 5 short films, one of 4 minutes duration ( The Sound of Silence), a 22 minutes duration ( The Meaning) and a 26 minute duration ( Bored in Xmas), 3 minutes film ( Silence), 2 minute film ( The Magic Ring) which was elected in the "First Time Filmmaker Sessions" in England, and with the association of Teatro Viento Sur made a 4 minute short film ( Being a teenager is...) which was elected in the Independent Video Film Festival in Greece. In 2022 the most important works he did were 2 short films. The first one, "Destiny", in which he directed, wrote and distributed. Now Destiny, was selected to the Sci-fi Oregon Film Festival. And the second film "Aún es Verano" in collaboration with Tenaz Digital, in which he was the camera operator. Currently working on many projects included filming, drawing and creating music. In 2022, in collaboration of Estudios Aroisa, Seville Film Office and the Municipality of Seville, directed "Janu's Mask".

Destiny (2022)
Film (short) by Akida Films Director Destiny is a Drama/Thriller, based on the meaning of life and death. About communication with ourselves and the response we have. A girl, one day, like everyone else, is talking to herself. In the movie, herself is shown as a real figure, but that's just an allegory for how much presence we feel from ourselves when we talk to them. Suddenly, she somehow sees herself, and the reason for such a difference between the two, even in gender, is because, in reality, we are the exact opposite of ourselves, we just think the same with them and after logic is carried out, we agree and make a decision (for example). In the end, Me, discovers that she is dead and that she lives in another life that no one thought of on earth. She is the victim of a multiple murder, her and 3 other girls.

Janu's wasn't a normal kid, he didn't want to study, he just wanted to make money. Year 2022, Janus is a self made millionaire, happy, with a nice family, plenty of money etc. But are all his goods a reality? Is he living a dream life in his mind?
