About Tamara
I write under T C H Collins and have published two books: Arcana - the first book in a contemporary fantasy series called The Cenicans of Bo, and a kids book called That's Not Candy, That's Toes!
I was born 1982 and raised in Wales (Carmarthenshire) where I picked up a love of myth and legend, I've also lived most of my adult life in Scotland, Inverness and Edinburgh, For now I'm in Southampton, England. So, I'm from all over the UK really.
I'm at my happiest creating something, whether it's art, crocheting little toys, writing fiction, or imagining how a conversation COULD have gone if only I didn't have performance anxiety...
I'm a mother of five, with two very different autistic boys, and not gonna lie, it's hard to juggle it all, even with my partner Mike!
I've lived my life sticking my finger in pies, learning skills and hobbies like they were going out of fashion. Arts and crafts is my bag, baby! I also do digital art, I dabbled in web building with html back in to '00s, along with my first foray into screenwriting. Before my boys were born i even enjoyed fire dancing/poi but like many of my hobbies, the boys take up a lot of my time so many things had to go on the back burner, sadly.
I like memes, breaking the fourth wall, Easter eggs, homages and the like. Seeing these types of connections seems important somehow.
Unique traits: Umm I got fabby white silver natural streaks in my hair!
