About Mike

I never went to film school. I decided the best way to learn was to just start working in film and television. I became a grip in the year 2000 and worked on every indy I could until I moved up the rungs of the ladder into professional major motion picture work. These days, my day job is working as a Best Boy Grip on whatever big shows come through Boston MA. Recently I worked on The Holdovers for Alexander Payne, The Tender Bar with George Clooney, Knives Out with Rian Johnson, the remake of Salem's Lot for Gary Dauberman. My IMDB page has to compete with the Mike Henry from Family Guy, and the Mike Henry who used to be Tarzan, but other than those dudes, I got a long ass list of on set experience.

I've finally learned enough about making movies to move on from Grip work and make the stories that I want to see in the theater or on television.

I started with "The Pixiestick Incident", a movie about a disgraced detective of a small town who is on the hunt for the Easter Bunny. He is the only one who knows that it's just an otherworldly evil wrapped in a cute fluffy disguise that it uses to lure children to their demise.
