Jay Proctor

I've been a Standby (On Set) Props for the last few years, working mainly on BBC and ITV TV drama and comedy productions, plus some independent films. I also have experience both on and off set in other Art Department positions, and as a Background Artiste.

It’s a very physical, and hands-on role that requires me to be practical with an artistic eye for detail, and a problem solver on and off set. I work directly with cast and always have a great relationship with them, and the rest of the crew.

The whole filming process, from pre-production planning, through to being on set, is something I thrive on.

As a role I came to late, I also have a wealth of other work and life experiences which supplement my knowledge and abilities. Essentially, I'm not defined by just this role so do get in touch if you want to talk further about a project. I might be just the fit you need.
