Hey, my name is Adam. It's good to be here! I love art and artists. I'm particularly fascinated with all that it takes to fulfill one's potential as an artist while navigating not only oneself (hard enough!) but to figure it out at the chaotic and nutty intersection of art & commerce.

After more than two decades in the entertainment industry, I began to recognize some deep and consistent patterns in artistic and career success (and failure) and it struck me how much of it lies not just in our gifting or technical skillsets, but more so in our unique psychology, our philosophies, and our beliefs. All of this is what led me to writing my book and beginning to put some serious energy into artist development and teaching. I love it.

Some numbers for ya...
I'm 47 years old. 23 is my favorite number. 2 is my kid-count. 1 is my wife count. 0 is how many times I've ever been wrong... and very just kidding about the last part.

I'm currently working on a bunch of stuff... but at the center of it all lies two passion projects that are in development (and they actually intersect)... 1) "FOLLOWING FIREFLIES" - A whimsical but richly layered book & animated musical series (mash together Tim Burton, Salvador Dali, Queen, Tom Waits, Thomas Newman, Harry Potter, Dr Suess and Where the Wild Things Are... and that'll give you some idea of what this feels/looks and sounds like). 2) This "Holistic Approach to Artistry" I described above... there's a lot here... and soon I'll be launching online courses... there's a "Discover Your Artist Type Quiz" you can go take right now at if you wanna dip a toe in the water.
