Sami Garcia is a lesbian Associate Deputy Warden, with tenor of over 12 years working in the State Penitentiary, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, and certification in Forensic Investigation. In conjunction with her work experience, she has received additional training in emergency preparedness and response, weapons certification and Non – Violent Crisis Intervention. She is the author of an Amazon top 100, “Light Em’ Up”, a fictional crime series, self- published in 2022 by Book Baby, with 120 copies sold the first year. She aspires to and is working with mentors to have the one – hour serialized crime, drama based on “Light Em’ Up” optioned into a streaming series to grow alongside the book series. Book 2 is completed and currently with a Beta group, waiting to be sent to an editor.
