Oscar Accorsi

Oscar Accorsi, composer, was born in Correggio (RE) in 1958.
He studied music composition with Salvatore Sciarrino Accademia Musicale Città di Castello (PG).
In 1985 he graduated in "Band Instrumentation" and in 1987 he graduated in "Choral music and choral conducting. He has worked as conductor and composer investigating, with the latter, mainly the relationship between the perception of the sound and his organization.
 In 1988 is reported at 1 International Composition Competition for Organ Serassi "Olivier Messiaen" in Bergamo with the song "The old force."
In 1990 he won the 2nd prize at the VI International Competition of Choral Composition and Processing "organized by the 'Federation of Choirs of Trentino', category:" Transcription and processing of Trentino popular song. "
In 1990 he obtained an honorable mention to the "National Composition Contest for Brass Quintet" in Livorno with the song "I ° Quintet.
Since 1993 his research adds to a compositional art activity to coordinate sound, matter and light in a unique theatrical with implications obvious.
