About Langston

I am a Miami native who has made a career in Immigration Law. The current medium that I write for saves lives and brightens futures for immigrants desperate to start a new life in the United States. Similar to compelling television, immigration cases must be written in a narrative form so that respective audiences may understand the immigrant as a person with goals, rather than just a case number.

Despite how fulfilling this work was, it was not enough for me. I come from a family of artists and I knew that I needed to find my form of expression. It was at this moment that I began working as a script reader for production companies including TV One, Catch and Release Films, Intrinsic Value Films, and the 2021 Santa Barbara Film Festival.

Furthermore, In 2021, I had the distinct pleasure of graduating from the MFA Dramatic Writing program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

During my graduate studies, one of my screenplays was accepted into the 2020 Creative Career Fellowship at the prestigious NYU Production Lab. Additionally, I received accreditation from the 2020 Cannes Film Festival, which was canceled by COVID-19. Recently, I have pitched projects to HBO Max and Paramount Plus.

I call Miami and New York City my home and love being in both equally, for different reasons.
