Her female-driven eco-horror-comedy RAT BASTARDS was Best Comedy Screenplay at the 2021 Nashville Film Festival and top 10% of the Nicholl Fellowships. Her fight comedy/drama, CAGE LIFE, was a 2021 Writers Lab finalist, a top-10 comedy finalist in Final Draft Big Break, and top 15% in the Nicholl Fellowships.

Keri is a former journalist who has covered everything from Eastern European folk dancing to the Mars Nanorover project. She has a master’s degree in English literature from Claremont Graduate University and has studied film, writing, and acting at UCLA and UC Irvine.
