I haven't always been capable of photography. The size and scale of requirements to be a photographer literally took me years to understand where my distinct style fit in. What I have been exposed to in this business has laid the foundation for an steep learning curve that has gone in more of a straight line without hope of returning to centre, yet luckily is still based on a set of mechanical and optical rules that sensors and microchips have and operating systems have now changed forever.

Today, thanks to smartphones my problems are outnumbered by solutions and all at my fingertips. However I still had to chose from the ocean of options this created, which ones suited my business, and how I could profit from their use.

As I started to remove distractions from my smartphone I began to see my business' foundation start to rise into the framework of what it has become today.

With every advance I make I get closer to having all the technology that I need to be a self-managed success in time of rapid development and heightened costs.
