About Lee

Lee is an internationally known author and screenwriter. He has script doctored several movie and television screenplays as well as original stories in development. His newest novel, FIREMAN DOWN: The story of African American Firefighter, Arthur Reese was released last year. Lee is an avid writer, his sci-fi novel, Voice in the Mirror, was released with great controversy which led to a bestselling run in 1997. His new book Fireman Down, The Arthur Reese story, confronts the roots of systemic racist behavior head on.

Lee is a champion, pioneer and founder of the newest literary category, Reality Science Fiction. And Reality Historical Fiction. (Copyright 2022) (NOTE: Fictional stories based on true science and discovery and true historical people and events.)

Lee is the executive producer of FilmWorks - LSD, LLC an Arizona film production company. His wife Danae, also his partner, is a producer and actress. She now spends her time creating exceptional and unique works of art for her company, ITS BY DANAE.

Lee has written 22 screenplays and several books. He loves live theater and acting on the stage. (He played the character of Dale Harding in the Off-Broadway production of, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." He was the primary contributor to Sir Richard Attenborough's sold out, collectible book honoring the 100 Year Anniversary of Cinema, "100 Years of Moving Pictures." His in-depth interview with Steven Spielberg is the centerpiece of the book. He also interviewed director's Goerge Lucas and Brad Silberling. Lee was also a feature writer for Sci-Fi & Fantasy FX magazine published in the UK.

Lee loves marionette puppets, building them, working them and displaying them. He is teaching his granddaughter how to mold, carve and work them.

Lee's latest venture is his High-Octane Comedy TV series, NUMBER 54, which is nearly fully funded and almost ready to begin casting. He plans on shooting the pilot in North Carolina.

Lee had great success at the AFM in Santa Monica this past November, pitching his TV show NUMBER 54 and his screenplays, "Filby: Forever in Time." The sequel to David Duncan's, sci-fi screenplay "The Time Machine" (based on the novel by H.G. Wells) and directed by George Pal. "Welcome to Hardrock: Penal Colony Gamma V" (The continuing adventures of Space Trucker, Corbin Dallas), "Voice in the Mirror," based on his best-selling sci-fi novel and the action screenplay, U.S.S. Shark. (Under Siege - Under Water). The hijack of a U.S. Nuclear submarine visiting Broward County, Florida for the Navy Days celebration. It is secretly transporting 4 nuclear torpedoes to the Norfolk, Virginia, naval base. Lee also had the great pleasure meeting the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and pitching his action film, "Search for the Quan Jin Jade" (Lara Croft meets Indiana Jones), to be shot on location in Thailand and on Ko Pi Pi island. The Deputy Prime Minister was very excited and offered Lee all of the benefits Thailand has to offer. (It is still in the planning stages.)

Lee is a blog contributor, member of the Writer's Room and many lounges and takes part in as many opportunities to be found on STAGE 32. Much of his success is owed to the things he learned here and encourages all to participate. Lee has been a member for over 22 years.
