Rosemary Lokhorst

I'm Rosemary Lokhorst, a writer and game producer. My script, ‘Flat Martha,’ is a current Academy Nicholl fellowship semi-finalist and an Austin Film Festival semi-finalist. With two decades in F500 tech companies, I co-founded Badass Studios, a mixed reality development studio. I've written for entertainment and serious gaming companies like Quantum Story and MyndSet Therapeutics.
I was the writer for and produced the award-winning mental health game, Shadow’s Edge.
As a passionate and active advocate for trans-media storytelling, I teach and speak at conferences, aiming to level the playing field for women in game writing. Additionally, I'm a Women In Games ambassador, and consulted the Mill Valley Film Festival on their ‘Mind the Gap’ program.
