About Tameka
Tameka J. Swain also known as (DJ FYNE) was born April 25th 1977 and raised in the Washington Metropolitan Area. In 1997, Straight out of high school she attended classes at University of Maryland University College for theater, In 1998 Swain attended Montgomery Hair Academy where she received a certificate as a cosmetologist/make-up artist, Swain attended Columbia School of Broadcasting in 1999 where she received her first internship at Radio-One.
During her internship at Radio-One she was able to assist on-air personalities and produce shows that came on the radio, while she was doing her internship she worked as a part-time make-up artist for companies such as Iman, Flori Roberst and Show Case Masters.
Prior to Swain joining Radio-One full time in October 2001, she received her first job as an extra in a movie which was Minority Report and than Madea Goes to Jail, it was a great experience she enjoyed every bit of it, 2006 Swain attended On-Camera Training with Brenna McDonough where she received a certificate, Swain has appeared in several magazines such as Sophisticated Black Hair, Hype Hair, and Black Beauty Braids.
Currently Swain is attending The Los Angeles Film School where she will recieve her Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production. Although On-Camera is where she wants to be she will continue to work hard to achieve her goals.
