About Tony

The Grandson of Joe Jordan, World Renown, Ragtime Composer who launched Fannie ( Baby Snooks ) Brice with two Songs " Lovie Joe " and " Dat's My Honey Sho's Yo Born " in the Ziegfeld Follies in 1910 and later in Paris did the musical score for Josephine Baker in " Sirens in the Tropics " and Great Nephew of Eubie Blake who composed " Memories of You " and " I'm Just Wild about Harry " and Nephew of Lowell Jordan who composed for Sam Cooke and Lou Rawls. I began my Art as a musician first at the age of 6 singing in Church Youth Choirs and was cast in my first Stage Play at the age of 9. All through elementary, junior high and high school I entertained with my bands and while in high school I worked a the Pat Boone Celebrity Golf Classic in Ocean Shores, WA where I met many celebrities and Bill Bixby who in 1977 sponsored me to enter Estelle Harmon's Acting Workshop and become a Member of Sag-Aftra in 1978 and Graduate with a MFA in 1979 that launched me into the Acting World. Mostly music and sports were central in my life with my Grandfather, who raised me, as mentor and cheerleader emphasizing education, I entered Central Washington University as a Scholar Athlete, Vice President of the Student Government Association and a Member of the Basketball Team becoming second in the Nation and inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1996. Upon graduation I entered the Corporate World as an Executive over a 30 year career while still concentrating on my Art. Worked in LA until 1983 and returned to Tacoma in 1983 and immediately registered with Aftra before the merger and in 1986 as Chairman on behalf of the Sag-Aftra EEO Committee established the Sag-Aftra National American Scene Awards. Getting limited in Acting jobs in the NW I went to writing Stories and Scripts and have been doing so ever since 2011 with two major scripts, my Debut Film the Robert Johnson Story " Man with the Blues " and the Sound Track and a Sci fi the Void: the Beginning in the " War of the Worlds " Aliens vs. Humans plus a Sequel ( Draft ) the Omen: " Searching for God 2050 that I am pitching for financing currently! There is a lot more credits that I have acquired during my lifetime, thus far, Entertaining, Civically, Fundraising for many organizations in my Community, Politically active and an Adjunct Professor teaching Acting I am dedicated and always concentrating on my Art.

Unique traits: Performing since age of 6. Sag-Aftra member since 1978 Co-Founder of the American Scene Awards 2013 a National Award. An advocate for the Performing Arts. Political Campaigner. a Public figure and Author. A Mentor that is always concentrating on his Art!
