Traxx of Truth is looking to expand, utilizing all of Mr. Bryan's other relationships. The Middle Journey…Courtney was gifted with several artistic abilities that took him to Hollywood, spending a whirlwind year and a half in the early ’80s pursuing an entertainment career, where he co-wrote, co-directed, co-produced, and starred in two video pilot shows. Somewhat disillusioned with the superficial and fake Hollywood atmosphere, he returned to New Orleans, where he had spent 12 years first in college, then in real estate and renovations, and after returning from Hollywood, tried his hand in the Night Club scene as an assistant manager. The journey continued as he headed back to Brooklyn, NY in 1988, where he joined with and also started, along with partners and associates Pat and Teri Atwell, John Valinotti, Alvin Hartley, Jack Plummer, Horace Peterkin, David Burnett, Eric “Ejam” Murray, and George Ghartey, several companies; Sports 4 Productions Inc., CBB Entertainment, Inc, Venture Records/Music Networks Co-Op and Tri-Masters International, Inc. For the next twenty years, they worked as consultants, assisting in the production and implementation of many events, including Spring In Effect, The New Harlem 10K Foot Race, The Sweet Til' Ya Wet Community Sportsfest throughout the boroughs of New York; as a Promoter at Black College Reunion Spring Break, in Daytona Beach, The Negril Sprint Triathlon in Jamaica, The Reggae My Way Album Production, Unity Jam @ BB Kings Blues Club in Times Square and as the minority marketing and promotions company for The NYC Inner-City Games. During this period, they worked with companies such as UniWorld Group, Inc., Coca Cola, Reebok, PepsiCo, BET, Nutriment, Verizon, Burger King, A T & T, Coors, Gatorade, Ford, and many others. Not to be forgotten is his work within his community during the ’90s as a coach and board president for the not-for-profit group Quad Educational Services, Inc., where he assisted the Executive Director with day-to-day operations, including overseeing the Young entrepreneur Project (Y.E.P.), seeking funds through donations and sponsorships. As a coach of teams under the Algonquin Athletics Softball Division, he gave his time and talents whenever and wherever it was needed to the young people in the program, up to 200 in some years.

The Early Journey…Mr. Barrett Bryan’s life journey took a pivotal turn with his arrival in the United States in 1967 at the age of 11, after spending his childhood on the beautiful Island of Jamaica. He graduated from Samuel J. Tilden H.S in Brooklyn and went on to college at Dillard University in New Orleans. Withdrawing after 2 years in 1976, he went to work and over the past 45 years has gained experience in diverse sectors of chain retail in food service, clothing, real estate sales and renovations, janitorial, landscaping, insurance, and finance. In these areas, he has worked with companies such as KFC, Florsheim Shoes, D. M. Greenup & Sons Realty, John Hancock, Primerica and Wakefield Properties, LLC.
