I like this QUITE a lot! I do wonder if there's a more concise way you can get "beautiful but narcissistic" across? I also selfishly want to at least have an idea as to why it's "incriminating". But! Your protagonist/antagonist are crystal clear, as are the inciting incident and obstacle. I'd see this :)
